The Statue of Mauri

During a hockey game in Södertälje in October 2025, a giant 3d-printed statue of TV host and YouTuber Mauri Hermundsson was rolled onto the ice as a surprise.

Created by Brandworks in collaboration with YouTuber Fabian Svorono, it was meant as a funny birthday tribute and quickly went viral. Mauri said he had nothing to do with it and found it “painfully funny.”

Result: Big media attention and a great example of how humor and surprise can create strong public engagement.
